Quiet rest

Quiet rest

My husband and I are returning home from a nice, lake, getaway, weekend, for our Anniversary! It was a very needed time to rest! Finding this rest by spending time with God and one another. Psalms 145:5 says, “On the glorious, splender of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works I will meditate.” Having quiet, reflection time with our Heavenly Father creates an environment for spiritual growth. As we begin to allow God to transform our lives, it’s imperative we are growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ, every day! Our power for change is directly tied to how much time we spend in God’s presence! Continually asking Him to show us areas that are preventing us from His perfect peace! God is dependable to make these changing a reality! When I’m feeling anxious, I STOP, ask God to remove the anxious feelings and confess to Him what’s on my heart and mind. I pray for Him to please remove what’s causing my mind and thoughts to spin. I will recite scripture to calm me down, as well. Remember how much God loves YOU and wants peace for YOU! via Facebook Pages http://ift.tt/2bbN1dO
