Be Still

Be Still

Its amazing how BUSY we all seem to be! I keep very “busy” myself but it CAN be a distraction from knowing and experiencing God! There are lots of wondeful, postive, worthwhile things to fill our time but no matter how noble any given activity might be if it keeps us from daily time with our Heavenly Father and Savior it needs to be removed! If we have a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ our focus should always be to glorify Him in everything we do!! We may need to evaluate how we are spending our time. We may need to trim our schedules down. My husband Chris and I have both had to do that. Yes, there are things that MUST get done but when we make a daily, consistent time to “BE STILL” with God, suprising things happen! More hours seem to appear!! My day is always FAR better and more productive when I have time with the Lord! Its as though He replaces that time and adds to it! Its pretty incredible how God makes things happen!! Being quiet, still and listening to what God has to say, is imperative to our spiritual growth! We ALL have the same amount of time in a day. And we will make time for whats necessary in our lives. Our relationship with Jesus should be the MOST necessary part!! When things are in proper perspective and God is at the CENTER of our lives, things seem to fall into place. When we are placing ANYTHING above God in our life we are unbalanced. No matter how great that person or activity might be! We were created to worship God! Being quiet and still gives us time to grow in the LORD!! BE BLESSED MY FRIENDS!! via Facebook Pages http://ift.tt/2bbN1dO
